Milyem & fine gold calculators
Convert karat to milyem, find the fine-gold content of any piece and build a labor-included price — the trade's three everyday calculations, free.
1. Karat → Milyem converter
Milyem = karat ÷ 24 × 1000
2. Fine gold (has) calculator
Fine gold = weight (g) × milyem ÷ 1000
3. Labor-included price
Price = weight × milyem/1000 × fine-gold price + weight × labor per gram
Enter the current fine-gold price yourself; this tool does not fetch live rates. Inside the Bakiyem app, prices use live market rates automatically.
How these calculations work
Milyem is purity in thousandths. Divide the karat by 24 and multiply by 1000: 22K → 22/24 × 1000 ≈ 916 milyem; 14K → 585 milyem. Multiplying an item's weight by its milyem (as a decimal) gives its fine-gold (has) content.
10 g × 0.916 = 9.16 g fine gold. The bracelet contains 9.16 grams of pure gold regardless of its total weight.
Price = weight × milyem × fine-gold price + labor. Labor is usually quoted per gram: (weight × labor-per-gram) is added on top of the metal value.
